“A journey through the oldest tropical rainforest of the world”

Project synopsis

Forests of Eastern Australia - short film.

Planned and filmed over a period of 2 months between autumn and winter 2023, this self-produced short film will showcase the vast diversity of Australia’s wild, untouched flora and fauna.

Shooting took place mainly around Melbourne, Sydney and Cairns. Target locations were National Parks like Otways, Blue Mountains, Grampians and Daintree.

Target protagonists were among others the platypus, superb lyrebird, Victoria’s riflebird, rainbowbee-eater and cassowary.
